Katlehong residents call on govt to find solutions to stamp out crime in the area

JOHANNESBURG - Katlehong residents on the East Rand are calling on the government to establish a solution to address rampant crime in the area.

They say gun violence and house robberies have become a thorn in the side for community members.

This was expressed during 702’s election town hall meeting in the area earlier on Wednesday.

Dozens of residents gathered to engage political leaders.

Katlehong residents slammed their local police station, claiming its employees are colluding with criminals to allow lawlessness to thrive.
